Cofounder and organizer of MEGAPULSE a Japanese hardcore show based in Chicago and Co-founder of the collective 未来Matrix. Y0bi uses time coded visuals and fast denpa/hardtek tracks to create a unique story behind his sets. Originally Y0bi wanted to start as a Future Funk DJ but the BPM was a little too slow. He soon found himself spinning hyperactive J-core tracks at 190+ BPM for fun and stuck with that. Inspired by multiple raves/shows in Japan Y0bi takes his experience from the Japanese rave and applies it to the organization/sound of MEGAPULSE.
Co-found of MEGAPULSE d@TU’s style is aggressive and confrontational. Known for his sharp sound and hardstyle/hardcore focus. Roughsketch and Myosuke are amongst d@TU’s favorite artists bringing a range of hardcore kicks to MEGAPULSE’s sound. Exposed to DJing at a young age d@TU has been around music and DJs for most of his life.
Usually on VRChat or MEGAPULSE Jakestar brings a unique sound of freeform hardcore to MEGAPULSE. Sets are varied from Technorch to Jakazid to self-produced tracks Jakestar’s sets are truely in the heart of the rave.
