MEGAPULSE was founded to bring the Otaku Japanese Hardcore underground to the United States. Jcore or Japanese rave music is fast, aggressive and loud — ranging from genres such as hardtek, happy hardcore and breakcore to gabber, speedcore, frenchcore, hardstyle, etc.

Jcore fundamentally challenges the standard shy and quiet image of Japan, fusing Anisong with loud hard techno beats (hard dance) and fast speeds.

MEGAPULSE’s goal is to show there’s more to Japan than simply kawaii culture and chill beats. There’s a growing underground searching for a unique sound to be heard by Otaku and the rest of the world.

MEGAPULSE’s mission is to bring the Japanese Hardcore sound to the states and reform current anime rave culture.
